Where To Stay

We recommend staying in the ‘Lower State Street’ area of Santa Barbara where you can choose from multiple hotel options all walking distance from the wedding & reception venue, our favorite bars, restaurants and coffee shops, and the beach!

Hotel Virginia (Holiday Inn)

4 blocks from the wedding, 5 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, and right by all the action in Lower State Street. Hotel Virginia, now operating as a Holiday Inn Express, is a great option in a convenient location. ($$)

Hotel Milo

We <3 Hotel Milo. This beachfront hotel is not only a stones throw from the pier, Hotel Californian, and Funk Zone but it’s where we stayed when Meredith was interviewing at Patagonia. We loved the service, free bike rentals, and local wine selection for sale in the lobby. ($$$)

The Hotel Californian

We obviously fell in love with this property as it will also host our wedding ceremony and reception. A block from the beach and the ‘Funk Zone’, this luxury hotel is a top-notch experience. If you are trying to ‘treat yourself’ then this is your option! ($$$$$)

AirBnB & VRBO

Hotel options will tend to be more convenient for weekend festivities around the Lower State Street area, but great options are still available via AirBnB or VRBO!
